Sketch of a jamb figure

I visit St. John the Divine in upper Manhattan whenever I can. I managed to remember my sketchbook on my latest visit and I made this sketch of a jamb figure.

St. George in Flushing, New York

Sketch of a beautiful Gothic Revival church in Flushing, Queens. Constructed in the mid 19th century it's one of the most impressive structures in Flushing.

Renzo Piano's Whitney Museum of American Art building

Drawn from across the street on 11th Ave. Very fun building to draw.

American architecture

A drawing from earlier today. A neo-classical style building with a nice pediment and portico. There was also an impressive Palladian dome reminiscent of Jefferson's Monticello.

Nice building, downtown Manhattan

All pens filled with Noodler's Black, except the Staedtler liner. I thought this was a beautiful doorway. It's down on West 4th not too far from the Blue Note Jazz Lounge.
