I visit St. John the Divine in upper Manhattan whenever I can. I managed to remember my sketchbook on my latest visit and I made this sketch of a jamb figure.
Sketch of a beautiful Gothic Revival church in Flushing, Queens. Constructed in the mid 19th century it's one of the most impressive structures in Flushing.
A drawing from earlier today. A neo-classical style building with a nice pediment and portico. There was also an impressive Palladian dome reminiscent of Jefferson's Monticello.
All pens filled with Noodler's Black, except the Staedtler liner. I thought this was a beautiful doorway. It's down on West 4th not too far from the Blue Note Jazz Lounge.
