The A train in Far Rockaway

I drove around my old neighborhood, Inwood and eventually ended up in Far Rockaway. My favorite thing about Far Rockaway is the elevated platform. So I decided to stop and paint it.


I think it's quite simple, but I like that about this painting. The train finally passed by and became a last minute addition.
